LAS VEGASRadio isnt just broadcast over the air anymore. That new reality is reflected in the depth and breadth of Super Sessions offered at this years NAB Show.

Here is a brief sampling of some sessions that are relevant for engineers and management who want and need to know more about IT infrastructure and IP best practices. All sessions are open to those who register for the Conference Flex Pass, Post|Production World, SMART Pass or Super Sessions.

Cisco Presents: From Capture to Consumer: How New Content Dynamics are Affecting Broadcast Infrastructures will be held Tuesday, April 14, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in room S222. Video for radio is an increasing trend, so broadcasters should be aware of multiplatform delivery challenges, as well as the development of 4K content in IP infrastructures.
On Wednesday, Broadband and the Internet of Things: Realities and Myths will be held from 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. in the same room. Broadband access is expanding, and offering opportunities and challenges; the same can be said for the Internet of Things, even though that technology is less developed. This session is produced in partnership with NAB Labs.
Protecting our Assets: Cybersecurity and the Media will then be held from 2:30-3:30 p.m., also in S222. This session will focus on issues that make organizations vulnerable to attack and how media organizations can protect themselves.
