Monroe Electronics’ Czarnecki Is Cybersecurity Webinar Panelist

Will serve as expert during TVNewsCheck webinar

LYNDONVILLE, N.Y. � Ed Czarnecki, senior director for strategy and global government affairs for Monroe Electronics, will be taking part in the upcoming webinar from TVNewsCheck, �Cybersecurity for Broadcasters: Ten Steps You Need to Take Right Now,� as a panelist.

The 90-minute webinar will cover the latest developments in cybersecurity and outline strategies for protecting, maintaining and resuming operations in the face of cyber threats.

Joining Czarnecki on the panel is Rear Admiral (ret.) David Simpson, bureau chief for FCC Public Safety and Homeland Security; Kelly Williams, senior director of engineering and technology policy at NAB; and Cynthia Brumfield, president at DCT Associated, who will serve as the webinar�s moderator.

The panel will address topics like the growing number and type of cybersecurity threats facing broadcasters, as well as ways to minimize and recover from those threats. They will also explain the guidance developed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology and the FCC�s Communications Security, Reliability and Interoperability Council. Lastly, they will cover the evolving government agency landscape and the increased concern for good cybersecurity practices.
