‘The NAB Podcast’ to Focus on Radio

The National Association of Broadcasters has announced a new bi-weekly podcast that will focus on the radio industry.

WASHINGTON�The National Association of Broadcasters has announced a new bi-weekly podcast that will focus on the radio industry. �The NAB Podcast� will cover radio industries topics like public policy issues, new technologies and proven business strategies.

New segments will be released every other Tuesday, starting on Jan. 26. Episodes are 15 minutes long and is publicly available for two weeks; after two weeks, the episode are archived for NAB members-only access.

The premiere episode, �2016 Broadcast Issues on Capitol Hill� features NAB President Gordon Smith; Curtis LeGeyt, NAB executive vice president of government relations; and John David, NAB executive vice president of radio. The trio talks about performance tax, streaming rates, advertising deductability, and the political landscape.

�It is our hope that �The NAB Podcast� will serve as resource for broadcast professionals to help them navigate an increasingly complicated radio landscape,� said Smith.

�The NAB Podcast� is distributed by and available on BlogTalkRadio, as well as iTunes.
