305 Broadcast announced a strategic alliance with SCMS, the U.S.-based distributor of broadcast, media and production solutions, that the company said will strengthen its ability to provide better services to broadcasters and clients in Latin America.
Founded by Alfonso Lopez in 1976, 305 Broadcast has focused on delivering tailored solutions to broadcasters and companies across Latin America and international markets.
As part of the new alliance with SCMS, 305 Broadcast will use SCMS’ infrastructure, inventory capabilities and portfolio of manufacturers, while continuing to provide clients with attention, regional expertise and relationships that the company said is its specialty.
“Forming alliances with organizations that provide strong infrastructure and resources is essential to continue delivering the level of service our clients expect,” Lopez said in a release.
More specifically, as part of the agreement, 305 Broadcast will continue operating as an independent commercial platform, maintaining direct relationships with its clients, while SCMS supports fulfillment, logistics and financial execution.
This, the companies reported, will allow customers to benefit from: access to a broader range of leading global brands; more competitive pricing through scale; enhanced technical and factory support and improved inventory availability and delivery times.
