AES Requests Input on Show Topics

David Bialik, broadcasting events chair for this year’s AES Convention, says AES is inviting topic suggestions from the broadcast community in response to growing interest in radio and TV audio issues.
Industry professionals are invited to send in brief proposals outlining broadcast-related audio subjects they would like to see addressed.
“Broadcasting is in a period of transition,” said Bialik. “Previous AES Convention broadcast events have covered subjects ranging from surround sound and satellite technology to employment opportunities in the new digital environment.
“We already have a number of strong suggestions for special events, workshops, papers and roundtable discussions for the 119th Convention. However, in the interest of providing as comprehensive an agenda as possible, we are opening the floor to new ideas.”
The convention will be held at the Javits Center in New York. Send topic suggestions to 119th_broadcastevents@aes.org.
