Andrew Corp. said it has opened a manufacturing facility in Reynosa, Mexico. It signed a lease for a 100,000-square-foot facility that will make microwave and satellite earth station equipment for North American and export markets. The facility will be in full production this month and employ 200 people.
Robert J. Hudzik, vice president of corporate development, said this is part of the company’s operations restructuring. The plan is “expected to achieve in excess of $40 million in annual savings,” he said.
