Arbitron says on April 5, it will begin the process that leads to commercialization of the Portable People Meter ratings service in Houston.
The April and May PPM ratings reports are to be released as “pre-currency” data, but only to stations and agencies that have signed a PPM license agreement.
The Winter 2007 diary-based ratings report, which comes out on May 4, is being designated the “currency” in the market until the release of the June PPM ratings report on July 18.
