AudioFeast Adds Catholic Programming Content for Mobile Service

EWTN Global Catholic Network said it will use the AudioFeast service, which delivers customized radio to portable devices. The deal makes EWTN Global Catholic Radio Network progamming available to AudioFeast subscribers.
It is the first Catholic media organization to be part of the service, which uses a peer-to-peer technology to sent programming to MP3 players, PCs and other mobile device. The company said it was the first portable Internet radio service for MP3 players’ it has licensed content channels such as news, sports, drama, hobby and niche programming.
EWTN uses an existing network of TV, shortwave radio, DBS, syndicated radio and Web content; it considers itself the largest religious media network in the world.
