Axia Audio announced sales in the Czech Republic and Ireland.
The Prague project is for Radio Free Europe studios and involves the installation of 49 Axia Element consoles and a complete Axia IP-audio network. Earlier this year, Axia won a separate big U.S. international broadcasting contract at Radio Free Asia facilities in Washington.
In Ireland, Wilton Radio’s i105-107 became the first Axia installation on the Emerald Isle. Three studios were part of the project, consisting of three Element consoles, six Analog Nodes, three AES/EBU Audio Nodes, three Axia Studio Engines, iProfiler logging software, PathfinderPRO router automation software and accompanying accessories such as installation panels for headphones and microphone control.
Total Broadcast Consultants in Ireland handled the contract. The station is in Athlone, Roscommon County, and serves eight Northeastern and Midlands counties in Ireland.
