Beasley Media Group Inc. has upped Debbie Mazella to serve as program director of WMGQ(FM) in Somerset, N.J.
Mazella joined WMGQ in 2007 as on-air talent and added duties as assistant program director in 2008. In addition to her new role, Mazella will continue her midday shift.
“Ever since my childhood, I wanted to be involved in radio, and I’m extremely grateful to the mentors who have influenced, encouraged and helped me on my career path,” said Mazella. “It’s even more exciting to know that I am the first female PD in Magic’s 40-year history!”
