Beasley Media Group has promoted Brian Beasley to chief operating officer of the Beasley Broadcast Group Inc. subsidiary.
“He has worked diligently from his early years in sales jobs to top management status at the helm of several of our radio markets,” President Bruce Beasley said in a release.
He most recently served as executive vice president of operations for the company. He has been employed by the company since 1977. He is also a former president of the Piedmont Radio Association and former director of the North Carolina Association of Broadcasters and is a graduate of East Carolina University.
This news follows another major announcement for the Naples, Fla.-based broadcasting company. Last week, BBGI announced its intention to acquire Greater Media.
