Beasley Media Group has promoted Boston Program Directors Mike Thomas and David Corey to serve as national format brand managers.
Thomas has been named brand manager for spoken word formats, in addition to his duties as PD for WBZ(FM). Spoken word formats include sports, talk, podcasting and eSports programming, according to the announcement.
WKLB(FM)’s Corey will now serve as country format brand manager.
They join urban format brand manager John Candelaria, AC/CHR brand manager Cadillac Jack and rock brand manager Bill Weston, according to Beasley Media Group Executive Vice President of Programming Justin Chase.
Beasley Media Group is a subsidiary of Beasley Broadcast Group, which owns and operates 64 radio stations.
