The New Jersey stations formerly owned by Greater Media have a new corporate name on the door now but they’ll be run by a familiar face.
Beasley Media Group has appointed Dan Finn to senior vice president and market manager of its newly-acquired New Jersey cluster. The company recently finalized its acquisition of Greater Media and now has 69 stations including the six in New Jersey.New Jersey was a notable part of the Greater Media business thanks to holdings that include WMGQ(FM), WDHA(FM), WRAT(FM), WJRZ(FM), WMTR(AM) and WCTC(AM).
Finn was most recently Greater Media’s senior vice president and regional general manager; he had joined the company when Greater Media purchased New Jersey Broadcasting, where he was president and chief operating officer. “It’s an honor and privilege to now be a part of the Beasley team,” Finn said in a press release. “My staff and I are excited to continue working with these heritage properties for such a legendary broadcasting company.”
Dan Finn is very familiar in the New Jersey radio industry. He’s a 2015 inductee into the New Jersey Broadcasters Hall of Fame, has held several boards of director positions within the New Jersey Broadcasters Association and is a former member of the board of directors of the New Jersey Ad Club. He is also a founding advisory board member at City University of New York’s School of Business.
