Best Buy this week stopped selling analog televisions and pulled remaining stock from its shelves, according to the Associated Press.
It reported that the move “signaled the end of an era as consumers increasingly move toward digital products with flat-panel and high-definition screens.”
MSNBC carried the story, which stated Best Buy is the first consumer-electronics retailer to announce its exit from the analog TV business.
