BlackBerry Users Can Use Flycast

Mobile content provider offers radio, video and podcasts.

Mobile content network FlyCast says its application will be available to BlackBerry users on Nov. 1.

The FlyCast network, launched in January, delivers radio, video and podcasts over mobile broadband and WiFi networks to mobile devices.

FlyCast partners include terrestrial and Web stations, including Entercom, Cox Radio, AccuRadio, 977 Music, 1.FM, 1Club and radioIO.

It will be available as a free download for users of the BlackBerry Curve, Bold and Storm from its mobile Web site at mobile.flycast.fm.

The BlackBerry smartphone version of FlyCast supports background play, allowing users to listen while they use their handset for other functions, and also supports playback through Bluetooth stereo headsets.
