Darrell Brown is now president of Bonneville International Corp., which has both radio and television properties.
Brown oversees the company’s total of 12 radio stations in Los Angeles, Seattle, Phoenix and Salt Lake City. He also oversees operations at KSL(TV), Salt Lake City.
He joined the company four months ago, overseeing the KSL Broadcast Group and had consulted the company prior. Brown had come to Bonneville from McGraw-Hill where he spent 28 years; his last position was president.
Brown’s career at McGraw-Hill, included various sales and management roles for ABC and Azteca America television stations, including vice president and general manager roles in San Diego and Denver.
Additionally, he was chairman of the ABC Television Affiliates Association and an executive board member of Minneapolis-based Internet Broadcasting Systems.
