Bonneville President/CEO Bruce Reese is the new chair of the NAB Education Foundation. He was elected to the post.
NABEF is a non-profit that supports broadcast education and training programs. Its mission statement also includes building strategies to increase diversity, First Amendment initiatives, community service and philanthropy.
A former chairman of the NAB Joint Board of Directors, Reese has held various leadership posts in national media organizations including the boards for the Associated Press and the Radio Advertising Bureau.
Bonneville is the founding partner for NAB Education Foundation’s Celebration of Service to America Awards, which began in 1999.
As president and CEO of Bonneville International, he oversees and operates 28 radio stations in eight markets, including Salt Lake City and Washington. Reese practiced law with firms in Washington and Denver before joining Bonneville in 1984.
The immediate past board chair is Gary Chapman, president, Gary R. Chapman Consulting.
