Burk Technology is shipping its PlusConnect for Harris Z transmitters.
The PlusConnect brings 400 transmitter parameters onboard the Burk ARC Plus using a serial connection.
“By eliminating parallel wiring to the transmitter, this approach allows broadcasters to manage the transmitter, ancillary equipment and IT infrastructure on a single platform,” Burk says.
“It saves the expense of expanding remote control capacity and connecting barrier strip wiring. An AutoPilot Plus custom view is provided for detailed visual monitoring of the transmitter parameters via PC.”
Burk worked with Harris on the integration; the PlusConnect is compatible with some 20 Harris Z models.
