PodcastOne has named Dean Canter as national sales manager. Canter will oversee all regional sales offices for the company, in addition to developing strategic initiatives, new advertiser opportunities and driving podcast trends.
Canter comes to PodcastOne from KROQ(FM) and KAMP(FM) in Los Angeles, where he most recently worked. Prior to that, Canter served as national sales manager for CBS Radio, managed the West Coast region at CBS Radio Sales, Katz Communications and was general sales manager at Emmis Communications in L.A. He also previously rose to VP/general manager of Interep, after launching his media career at KPWR(FM) in Los Angeles.
PodcastOne was founded by Norm Pattiz, who also founded Westwood One, and is currently home to more than 200 podcasts.
