CBS Adds Update at :31

CBS Radio News will add scheduled one-minute updates at 31 minutes past the hour.
“These updates will consist of an in-depth report on the most interesting, most provocative or lead story of hour,” it stated. Affiliates will be advised at 10 minutes past the hour of the subject matter. The service starts Monday (July 18).
Vice President for Radio Harvey Nagler issued the announcement. The programming is distributed by Westwood One.
