CBS Promotes Frazier in Houston

Purdy will focus on Dallas

CBS Radio has promoted Sarah Frazier to senior vice president and market manager in Houston, the nation’s sixth-largest radio market.

She’s been VP/director of sales for the Houston cluster since 2009.

“In her new role,” the company stated, “Frazier will have oversight and day-to-day responsibility for the management of CBS Radio’s six stations in the market, covering a variety of formats including KHMX(FM) (Hot AC), KIKK(AM) (Talk), KILT(AM) (Sports), KILT(FM) (Country), KKHH(FM) (CHR) and KLOL(FM) (Spanish).”

She succeeds Brian Purdy, who had been managing CBS Radio’s Houston and Dallas clusters. CBS said Purdy will now focus on Dallas, the fifth-largest radio market.

Frazier joined CBS Radio in 2004 as local sales manager for KJKK(FM) in Dallas, the first major-market “Jack”-formatted radio station.

President/CEO Dan Mason made the announcement.
