Clear Channel Chairman/CEO Lowry Mays said he and company CFO Randall Mays have signed sworn statements personally attesting that Clear Channel’s most recent periodic reports filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission contain no material errors or omissions.
“Clear Channel has always operated openly, honestly and fairly, and we are proud to sign these statements personally,” Mays said. “Clear Channel is pleased to file this personal certification well ahead of the SEC deadline and to join President Bush and the Congress in support of corporate responsibility and accountability.”
The company reported Q2 revenues exceeding $2B last week and moved up the release a week to try and squelch rumors relating to its accounting practices.
