Clear Channel Dallas Chooses Richter for Market President

Clear Channel Denver names Hager VP of sales

Deidre Richter has been tapped as Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Dallas’ new market president. She will report to Kelly Kibler Owens, senior vice president of operations for Houston, Dallas, Austin and San Antonio.

As market president, Richter will supervise the market’s operations, including programming and sales for the six-station cluster that includes KHKS(FM), KEGL(FM), KDMX(FM), KZPS(FM), KDGE(FM) and KFXR(AM). She will also oversee station activities and events to help drive sales and achieve revenue targets.

According to a release, Richter has a record of developing strong sales teams and managing organizations, most recently serving as the senior regional sales director at Microsoft Corp., where she managed the company’s advertising sales to other brands across a four-state region. Richter had been with Microsoft since 2000, with pervious roles as a vertical sales manager for Retail and senior account executive.

In other announcements, Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Denver has also appointed Tim Hager as vice president of sales.

Hager most recently served as general sales manager of CBS Radio’s KMOX(AM) in St. Louis. Hager also has past experience with Clear Channel Media and Entertainment, previously serving as account executive, sports sales manager and general sales manager.

“Tim’s extensive multiplatform marketing experience and focus on providing the best value solutions for our advertising partners will be a great addition to our business here in Denver,” said Pat Connor, president and market manager for Clear Channel Denver.
