Clear Channel Launches “La Preciosa”

Clear Channel continues its Spanish language programming initiative with the La Preciosa network.
“In the short time that we’ve had La Preciosa stations on the air, we’ve received overwhelmingly positive responses from our listeners,” said Alfredo Alonso, senior VP of programming for Clear Channel Radio. The network lineup includes radio and TV personality Victor Manuel Lujan, along with current hosts Alex Lucas, Rosemar Vega and Pepe Reyes. La Preciosa is airing on a dozen or so stations.
Clear Channel announced plans to expand Spanish programming on its stations by network and format change in 2004.
