Clear Channel Entertainment and Media has made personnel announcements that affect several markets.
In Pittsburgh, Drew Salamon will take over as director of sales. He was GSM for Pittsburgh stations WDVE(FM) and WXDX(FM). He began his radio career as a an intern for WWSW(FM) in Pittsburgh. Salamon has also worked for Jet Broadcasting in Erie, Pa. Clear Channel’s Pittsburgh group consists of WBGG(AM), WDVE, WKST(FM), WPGB(FM), WWSW and WXDX.
Out west, Glynn Alan, previously regional market manager for the Colorado Springs, Fort Collins and Pueblo, Colo. group, is moving to regional market manager for the El Paso, Texas, Las Vegas and Tucson, Ariz. group. He will be based out of Tucson.
Chris Pickett, previously operations manager for the Tucson market, will assist Alan as the new regional programming manager for the El Paso, Las Vegas and Tucson group. Pickett will operate out of the Las Vegas cluster. He also will be operations manager for the Las Vegas market. Pickett has worked Cleveland, Denver and Indianapolis.
Chris Kelly, previously operations manager for Clear Channel’s Ft. Collins market, will move to Tucson to take the ops manager job for that market. Successors for all three have not been named.
