Clear Channel Names Kevin Dorsey President, Traffic, Navigation, Mobility

Focus is on building connections with ‘consumers on the go’.

Clear Channel Media and Entertainment has a president of Traffic, Navigation and Mobility, a new position.

Based in New York City, Kevin Dorsey reports to Charlie Rahilly, company president of National Ad Platforms.

Dorsey will oversee the continued integration of Metro Networks with Clear Channel Media and Entertainment’s Total Traffic Networks, and will manage and further develop programs including broadcast traffic reporting, online traffic mapping, custom routes and personalized mobile navigation. His responsibilities will also include building integrated connections with “consumers on the go” over the air, online and via mobile.

“We need someone with the talent and expertise who can deliver the highest-quality information to broadcast and digital partners, further improve the personalization experience for our users, and create unique ways for sponsors to connect to their key audiences,” stated Rahilly.

Dorsey joined Clear Channel Media and Entertainment in September of 2011 and was previously senior vice president of National Advertising Platforms.

Before joining Clear Channel, the University of Maryland graduate was senior vice president of Business Development for the CBS Local Digital Media group, where he was involved in the restructuring of the websites for CBS O&O TV and radio station websites into 24 individual market sites; Dorsey was also responsible for online and mobile strategic partnerships and sales integration.
