Clear Channel Reorganizes Regional Sales Structure

CC Philadelphia Names Anthony Fuscaldo Vice President of Sales

Laura Hagen

Clear Channel Media and Entertainment says Connections, a group within the company’s National Sales, Marketing and Partnerships division that focuses on expanding alliances with national advertisers and partners, will be reorganized into three dedicated regions.

Laura Hagen will join the division as senior vice president of Connections for the East Region, Kristina Lutz will join as senior vice president of Connections for the Central Region and Adrienne Pabst has been named senior vice president of Connections for the West. Hagen, Lutz and Pabst will report to Greg Glenday, president of Connections.

These appointments and the new organization within the Connections group will provide dedicated focus and resources to help leverage Clear Channel’s assets for advertisers, the company said. The new organization will align with the company’s National Sales, Marketing and Partnerships strategy, which enables the division to pursue national multiplatform marketing.

Kristina Lutz

“Expanding the Connections team and rooting our executives in key regions throughout the country further enriches Clear Channel Media and Entertainment’s ability to develop innovative and effective marketing programs that connect national advertising partners with our more than 239 million monthly listeners across the country,” said Glenday.

Laura Hagen, who will be based out of New York City, has 15 years of media sales experience to contribute to her new role as senior vice president of Connections East and will work with Vice Presidents Chris Hassan and Khartoon Ohan on campaigns for advertisers based on the East Coast. She comes from NBC News’ Advertising Sales division where she most recently served as general manager of brand solutions. Prior to NBC, Hagen held sales positions at Salon Media Group, The Industry Standard, 24/7 Media and Ziff-Davis Magazine Networks.

Kristina Lutz will become the senior vice president for the new Connections Central Region office in Chicago. Lutz, a media sales and advertising veteran, joins Clear Channel from Starcom USA where she most recently served as senior vice president and activation director. She also served as senior vice president/managing director of General Motors Planworks, a unit of Starcom MediaVest Group that conducted media buying, planning and research.

Anthony Fuscaldo

Gayle O’Carroll and Chris Baskin will join Clear Channel Media and Entertainment as vice presidents of Connections for the Central Region and will report to Lutz. O’Carroll spent the past 13 years holding various sales leadership roles at major content and entertainment brands including Discovery Communications, Disney and Cox Communications. Baskin comes from Buzzmedia, where he promoted national accounts to generate revenue for the Midwest territory.

Britt Levine will also join Erin Collier as vice president of Connections West. Levine was promoted from within Clear Channel and previously served as a sales manager.

Clear Channel Philadelphia has also tapped Anthony Fuscaldo to be its vice president of sales for WDAS(FM), WDAS(AM), WIOQ(FM), WISX(FM), WRFF(FM), WUSL(FM).

Fuscaldo has been promoted internally, where he most recently served as general sales manager at Clear Channel Philadelphia. He joined Clear Channel Media and Entertainment in 2004 as a national sales manager, and in 2009 became a general sales manager. He has also worked as a national sales manager for WOGL(FM) and WPHT(FM) at CBS Radio and as an account executive at Katz Radio.
