Software company Marketron has published The Ultimate Guide to Digital Sales Compensation for Media Companies, a resource for broadcasters on compensation and commission in digital sales, along with a commission and margin calculator.
According to the company, the new guide includes a review of digital sales compensation factors, an examination of five commonly used models and data on which models those in the broadcast and media industry use most often. The guide also offers insights into the connection between compensation, recruitment and retention, according to Marketron.
“We know commission and compensation are both a concern and an opportunity for the industry,” said Jeff Ulrich, director of sales enablement services at Marketron, in the release. “By offering our expertise and combining it with data and a calculator, we hope the industry can use what they learn to refine their recruitment strategy and ensure their high performers stay with them.”
The digital sales commission and margin calculator allows users to experiment with four of the five commission models. Marketron said the results can be downloaded as a PDF.
