Clear Channel San Antonio Names Malik Market Manager

Krukowski also named program director for Detroit’s 106.7

Clear Channel Media and Entertainment San Antonio has named Breeanna Malik as market manager. She will lead San Antonio’s seven stations and report to Hartley Adkins, Clear Channel’s executive vice president of operations for Major Markets West.

The San Antonio cluster consists of KAJA(FM), KQXT(FM), KRPT(FM), KXXM(FM), KZEP(FM), KTKR(AM) and WOAI(AM).

Malik has been in the market for five years, most recently serving as director of sales and previously as a general sales manager. According to the announcement she will be responsible for all aspects of the San Antonio market’s operations including all strategies, programming and sales initiatives. In addition, Malik will help to drive new business and increase revenue using her ties in San Antonio and external sales presence.

Pam McKay, who previously served as Market Manager for Clear Channel Media and Entertainment San Antonio and Austin, will now oversee the Austin market.

In other Clear Channel personnel news, Casey Krukowski has been named program director for classic rock station WDTW(FM) in Detroit.

Krukowski previously worked at Clear Channel Cincinnati, where he most recently served as program director for WEBN(FM). Additionally, Krukowski previously served as midday program director on WRXL(FM) in Richmond, Va., as well as, a variety of on-air and programming roles in other markets.

Clear Channel Detroit owns and operates WDTW(AM/FM), WDFN(FM), WJLB(FM), WKQI(FM), WMXD(FM) and WNIC(FM).
