Deadline Is July 31 for NAB HD Radio Multicasting Award

Award recognizes unique, innovative HD Radio programming

The deadline to nominate a station for the 2011 NAB HD Radio Multicast Award is July 31.

Established in 2007, the award recognizes an HD Radio multicast station that’s creating unique, innovative or groundbreaking programming. Previous award recipients include KBCO(FM), Denver’s “The Studio C Channel;” WRIF(FM), Detroit’s “Riff2;” WHUR-World, an extension of Howard University’s WHUR(FM), Washington, D.C.; WAMU(FM), Washington, D.C. for its Bluegrass Country station, 88.5-2 and WSTW(FM), Wilmington, Del. for its 93.7-2 “Graffiti Radio” channel.

Stations must submit their entry online. The award will be presented during the 2011 Radio Show, Sept. 14–16, in Chicago.
