Digigram BOBs Connect Audio Sources to PCX Cards

Digigram BOBs Connect Audio Sources to PCX Cards

Digigram debuted the BOB line of breakout boxes, which the company says is a solution to connecting audio sources and destinations to its multichannel sound cards via a 2U 19-inch rack.
Analog and digital signals are available simultaneously on the front panel via Neutrik XLR connectors. AES, synchronization, Word In/Out, Video In and LTC In connectors are included.
There are two BOB units in the series at present.
BOB8 features four analog and digital stereo input connectors plus four analog and digital stereo output connectors. Digigram says it is suitable for use with its PCX882HR, PCX881HR, VX882HR and VX881HR sound cards, but also may be used with other Digigram cards via specific link cables. BOB8 offers four mounting configurations: rack front end; rack back end; under a table; or tabletop.
The BOB12 features connectors for one analog and digital stereo input, and six analog digital stereo outputs. It is suitable for use with the PCX1222HR and PCX1221HR sound cards. Like BOB8, BOB12 offers four mounting configurations.
