Dolby Laboratories Inc. highlighted the use of Dolby Pro Logic II audio technology with HD Radio at The NAB Radio Show.
According to the company, Dolby Pro Logic II keeps the surround soundfield intact even while tuning between HD Radio stations and during signal fades or periods of blending to analog.
The system was demonstrated in a car equipped with a factory-installed system incorporating Dolby Pro Logic II and utilizing content provided by National Public Radio (NPR).
