The DRM Consortium is hosting a free webinar about “DRM – Extra Features and Benefits – A Better Choice for Listeners.”
Targeting the Indian market and set for Nov. 18 at 3:30–4:30 p.m. (India time), the webinar will feature experts from India and senior members of the worldwide DRM Consortium presenting on the features and engaging in a question and answer session.
According to DRM, The presentation will address issues of interest in India and the current debate on digitization. It will attempt to answer why is DRM a superior solution to analogue, where it is taking place in India and why manufacturers should begin to make receivers now.
“All India Radio recently published a call for a tender for DRM 800 receivers demonstrating the will to take their digital roll out plan to the next level,” said DRM Consortium Chair Ruxandra Obreja. “This is an excellent sign indeed for all manufacturers as chipsets with multistandards including DRM are already available making the integration of the DRM standard into receivers an easier and more cost-effective process.”
