DRM Readies for April General Assembly

Event will be held at Fraunhofer IIS headquarters in Erlangen, Germany

The first week of April has been set for members of the broadcast industry to head for Erlangen, Germany, to attend the 2016 General Assembly of the Digital Radio Mondiale Consortium. The event will be held at Fraunhofer IIS headquarters with the theme of “Digital Radio Mondiale — Smart Radio for Everyone.”

According to DRM, the three-day conference, which runs from April 5–7, will let DRM members and invited guests of the General Assembly and European workshop meet and share information on DRM, as well as review DRM activities and achievements of the last year. DRM Chairman Ruxandra Obreja also says the meeting will provide the opportunity to discuss the challenges and strategy for next year.

The General Assembly will kick off on April 5 and continue the morning of April 6. Starting on the afternoon of April 6, the General Assembly will overlap with DRM’s first European workshop, focusing on the radio receiver and car industry.

It is possible to register for the European workshop here.
