Eimac Gets Behind DRM

Eimac is lending its support to the DRM movement.
The company, a division of CPI, said this week it has joined as a supporter of Digital Radio Mondiale, which promises superior AM reception via digital broadcasting in the medium- and short-wave bands.
VP of Marketing John Allan said Eimac has been associated with the broadcast organizations and transmitter manufacturers who make up the worldwide DRM Consortium for some time. Eimac makes power tubes, some of which have been used in long-range DRM short-wave broadcast.
