Entercom Names VP of Programming and Ops for Austin

Nite will oversee Entercom Austin’s four radio stations

Entercom has promoted Nikki Nite to vice president of programming and operations in Austin. She replaces Cat Thomas. Her replacement is currently being sought, and Nite will begin her new position Aug. 3.

Nite will oversee the programming and operations of the Entercom Austin’s four radio stations, KJCE(AM), KAMX(FM), KKMJ(FM) and KKMJ(HD3).

“I’m honored to have the opportunity to continue to build upon the solid foundation Cat Thomas has put in place,” said Nite. “Returning to Austin is not only professionally rewarding, but also personally rewarding.”

Nite has been with Entercom since 2009, programming stations in the Austin and Sacramento markets. She most recently served as program director of Entercom Sacramento’s’ KDND(FM) and KUDL(FM).

She previously worked in programming at CBS’s KVIL(FM) and KMVK(FM), Dallas; WFBC(FM), WGCV(FM) Greenville, S.C.; and WWXM(FM), Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Entercom Communications Corp. has a portfolio of 125 radio stations in 27 markets across the country.
