Entercom announced Chris Claus will retire at the end of August after 10 years as vice president and market manager for the New Orleans cluster and 35 years in broadcasting.
Claus joined Entercom in 2007, and prior to that he served as VP and GM for KJQY(FM) in San Diego; KFWB(AM) and KTWV(FM) in Los Angeles; and WPHT(AM) and WOGL(FM) in Philadelphia.
“Chris championed New Orleans during the critical post Katrina period, during Hurricane Gustav in 2008 and throughout the Deepwater Horizon/BP Oil spill in 2010,” said Entercom President of Sales Deborah Kane. “Chris’ engaging style of management, his unwavering professionalism and his heart has made an indelible imprint on Entercom employees and the community at large.”
