TuneIn announced an expanded partnership with electric vehicle maker Lucid Motors.
“New and current Lucid owners will now be able to stream TuneIn Premium content straight from their vehicles,” it said in a press release.
Lucid owners will be offered a 90-day free trial of content without commercials. TuneIn’s free service will continue to be available in Lucid vehicles.
In the release, the streaming company addressed the question of electronic noise interfering with audio, an issue that has more typically shown up in discussion about AM radio.
“TuneIn’s integration tackles signal interferences caused by EVs’ powerful batteries by enabling seamless streaming of top-notch radio and audio content from global sources directly into EVs,” it wrote.
