The FCC denied a request from NAB and the Network Affiliated Station Alliance that the agency collect data from the television networks related for the media ownership proceeding. The commission stated that the scope of questions it asked for public comment on is enough to gather the data sought by NAB and NASA. The FCC also does not want to delay the proceeding. Comments are due Jan. 2 and replies on Feb. 3.
