The Media Bureau is opening a short filing window for applications for select new NCE FM station construction permits. The window is for three vacant commercial allotments reserved for noncom use.
The Class A allotments are in Asbury, Iowa (Channel 254), Greenup, Ill. (Channel 230) and Van Alstyne, Texas (Channel 260).
The window opens Friday, Aug. 8 and closes at 6 p.m. Eastern on Monday, Sept. 8.
The FCC also announced a related minor application filing “freeze.”
