Ford and Lincoln dealers will provide customers a three-month trial of SiriusXM when they purchase any used vehicle that has a factory-installed satellite radio.
About 1,200 Ford and Lincoln dealerships are participating in the effort.
The satellite radio broadcaster has recently announced other automakers offering free trials with pre-owned vehicles that have factory installed satellite radio receivers — like Hyundai, Toyota, GM, BMW, Mercedes and Volkswagen — bringing the total dealer participation to 5,000.
Ford Motor Co. will continue to give customers a six-month SiriusXM subscription with the purchase of new Ford and Lincoln vehicles and a three-month subscription with the purchase of used cars and trucks.
