Genelec is supplying monitoring systems for the ongoing sell-out Spice Girls reunion tour.
The three systems specified by tour musical director Simon Ellis feature 8250, 7070 sub-bass monitors and Genelec Loudspeaker Manager (GLM) software.
“I find the Genelecs so easy to work with. They are clean but can deliver the goods even at tremendously high levels,” said Ellis. “I will be taking them on tour with my recording system, so I will always have a good solid point of reference.”
London-based Studio Creations Ltd. supplied all the Genelec systems for the tour and is providing full 24-hour support during the five-month world tour.
“Genelec monitors represent the ‘real world’ much better than anything else I have tried in the past,” said Front-of-House Engineer Ray Furze.
