Harris is delivering four Platinum Z10 FM radio transmitters and nine Atlas Series TV transmitters to Bulgarian transmission and telecommunications services provider BTC Group (???), headquartered in Sofia.
The new transmitters will modernize the TV and radio infrastructure across Bulgaria, readying BTC Group for the upcoming transition of its terrestrial networks to DVB-T.
The Platinum Z10FM radio transmitters are 10 kW units with MicroMax exciters.
“This is a significant sale for Harris Broadcast,” said Richard Scott, vice president, Europe, the Middle East and Africa operations for Harris Broadcast Communications.
