Omnia Audio said an Omnia One Multicast is being used by Robert Hensler, VP of engineering for Colorado Public Radio, for HD processing of AM station KVOQ in Denver.
Hensler told Omnia that the processor’s Sensus technology helped deal with a challenging reduced bitrate of the AM station. Sensus minimizes artifacts and restores fullness and depth to bit-reduced content, according to the company.
Separately, the manufacturer reported an order for an Omnia One from Mark Williamese, director of engineering for Moody Radio Group. The unit will be used in Indiana.
