Creative Master Series panel will reveal the film’s creation process

Gary Ross, director of the highly-anticipated film, “The Hunger Games,” will be leading a session at this year’s NAB Show, as part of the Creative Master Series.

Also titled “The Hunger Games,” at the session Ross will be joined by the film’s sound designer Bill Dean, and sound designer/supervisor Lon Bender. The panel will show “how the film’s artists joined forces to realize Ross’ retro-futuristic vision, immersing the audience in the film’s believable, futuristic world,” according to a release.

The NAB Show’s Creative Master Series brings together key players in the motion picture, television, advertising and online communities to discuss the craftsmanship of content creation.

The 2012 NAB Show takes place in Las Vegas, April 14–19. “The Hunger Games” will run 12–1 p.m., April 17. The panel is produced in partnership with Motion Picture Sound Editors.
