IABM has appointed Darren Whitehead to the position of director of business development.
With a background in exhibitions and events, Whitehead has held many senior roles in this sector over a period of 25 years. He has spent the last eight years of his career with IBC, helping to develop the event to where it is today, says IABM.
Whitehead will assume responsibility for transitioning the organizational strategy from a service-oriented “beneficial” approach to a sales-oriented “customer service” approach, the organization explained.
It added that he will assist the team in identifying opportunities for growth in both existing and new revenue streams.
