IBC2007: New Netia Tools Ease Workflows

Netia Radio-Assist 7.5 enhancements to be shown at IBC2007 add networking, distribution and scheduling capabilities to the digital audio software.

Netia Radio-Assist 7.5 enhancements to be shown at IBC2007 add networking, distribution and scheduling capabilities to the digital audio software.

The latest release of the program suite features integration of the Netia U-Share network management system, which simplifies distribution of audio content from one site to multiple destinations, and the Feed-In IP Mode, which supports daily scheduling of all automatic recordings of external programs.

“The movement of audio to the right place at the right time is a critical part of streamlined production operations,” said Xavier De Vynck, Netia vice president of business development.

In addition, customized Axia IP-Audio networking components bundled with Radio-Assist 7.5 make it possible for any audio workstation running Windows to send studio-grade audio directly to an Axia audio network from its network interface card, without the need for a soundcard.

“Through these new features and components for Radio-Assist, we have provided functionality that simplifies the exchange of content among users and applications to enable more flexible, fluid and synergetic workflow processes,” De Vynck said.
