IDC said its PROFLine subsidiary in Europe received a $1.25 million order from the World Family of Radio Maria to supply equipment for a major satellite radio network upgrade.
The value of the order from the Catholic religious network was put at $1.25 million Canadian, roughly $1.08 million U.S. The order calls for the delivery of Profline satellite receivers based on the Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) standard and designed for the radio broadcast market.
Yesterday IDC said it had received a significant order from Westwood One to provide a new digital audio distribution system for that company.
