International Datacasting Corp. has sold two SuperFlex broadband multimedia satellite datacasting systems to two European corporate customers.

The orders include head-end uplinking equipment and receivers with a combined initial value of approximately C$2 million with potential significant follow-on.

Both customers declined to be named for competitive non-disclosure reasons.

The SuperFlex is a line of digital satellite networking products designed to distribute broadband multimedia content (i.e. Internet services, multimedia data, streaming media) via satellite. The system incorporates advanced technology using digital video broadcasting (DVB), Internet Protocol (IP) and MPEG international standards.
