Clear Channel Media and Entertainment will bring the iHeartRadio Music Festival back to Las Vegas’s MGM Grand in Las Vegas Sept. 20–21.
Clear Channel will also continue its partnership with department store Macy’s to bring back Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Star campaign to spotlight emerging musicians and find one to perform at the festival.
Industry experts and Macy’s have selected 25 musicians from whom fans will pick an emerging artist to perform at the iHeartRadio Music Festival and at Macy’s Glamorama events this summer. The voting began April 1 online and ends May 12.
Last year’s winners of the Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Star, Megan & Liz, received nearly 3 million votes from Clear Channel listeners, iHeartRadio fans and Macy’s shoppers.
Fans nationwide will again have the opportunity to attend the event through a summer on-air and online “Road to Vegas” promotions across its 850 radio stations and websites, through iHeartRadio.com and via Facebook.
